Welcome to the website for the Blue Ridge Volunteer Rescue Squad.  I would like to thank you for visiting our site and welcome you to explore its content and contact me if you have any questions or suggestions.  I especially invite you to consider supporting our squad. 

We are an intimate group of dedicated volunteers that need your help!  While financial support is always appreciated and we simply could not accomplish our mission without your tax-deductible donations, we are currently embarking upon one of the most aggressive recruitment campaigns in the squad's history.  Your service to the Blue Ridge Rescue Squad will offer you many benefits; including free training and equipment, discounts and appreciation incentives, tax advantages and social opportunities.  Above all else, however, membership on the rescue squad offers you an opportunity to help your neighbors when they need you most.  The sense of pride and personal fulfillment that accompanies this altruistic service is not easily replicated elsewhere. 

Please consider contacting us, visiting with us at one of our upcoming open houses (see the schedule on the home page), or scheduling with us a no-obligation ride-along to see what it is that we really do.  As a call-out station, we run calls from our homes and the commitment is comparatively minimal.  Regardless of your situation, we will try to work with you to develop a level of involvement that is appropriate for you and your family.  We need you!  Botetourt needs you!  Your friends and neighbors need you!
