The Blue Ridge Volunteer Rescue Squad is currently conducting one of the most ambitious recruiting campaigns in squad history.  Since 1981, hundreds of volunteers have helped to build this organization and now WE NEED YOU! 

No experience?  NO PROBLEM!  We have a cadre of highly qualified providers that will "show you the ropes."  We are an intimate organization and you will quickly get to know each of our members.  Any one of them will be more than willing to help you get involved.

No training?  NO PROBLEM!  There are many ways to get involved and start helping without any formal training.  New members will be provided CPR training immediately after joining.  After you become comfortable with our organization and feel ready, you will become eligible for free certification-level training courses. 

Not much time?  NO PROBLEM!  Our squad currently runs as a call-out station, meaning our members generally run calls from the comfort of their homes.  Your schedule will dictate your level of involvement and our officers will work with you to find the right balance for your individual situation.
